Wow! Calling for a Kyler Murray flip to UT?

That's bold, but would be unbelievably fun to see aggie's Top 4 switch to UT.  The aggie tears will flood the Brazos Valley!  \m/

They're going to wake up one day thinking it was all a dream only to realize the cold hard truth --- Texas Owns the State.

I see 5 on your list, all but Murray.

Murray's Dad being a A&M player makes it unlikely.  Some are saying Oregon, still rather him go to the Ducks than to ags.

We do have an outside shot though with Murray for Baseball and Football.  I believe his Uncle played baseball for Texas.

Hopefully it happens.

Dont underestimate MJ's influence over Mack especially if he hosts him on an OV.

I'm not ready to call Murray to Texas. It's just an ongoing conversation at this point. I'm hopeful, but that's all. Of course, a week ago I had no hope for such a thing.

I think we'll get a verbal commitment from Tim Irvin. He's an EE. Of the recruits left on the board, including Mack, Irvin is the one who excites me most. So getting him would be like a milder MJ commitment IMO.

I also know we've had some conversations with Deonta Thompson recently. He's listening. I'd rate his likelihood of coming about the same as Murray. Some say Thompson is the best player in the state.

I am a lone voice in the wilderness on this but I think there is small - very small chance we flip Murray from aggy.

I know, I know but let me dream a little.... what if it happens - we have thought for weeks and weeks we had no shot at Jefferson OR McNeal...

His uncle Calvin was an All American Centerfielder at Texas.

Regarding Irvin as an early-entry: I thought we only had room for 6 early entries - haven't all those slots been filled (Malik, Connor, and Garret along with the three Jucos)?

PURE rumor....but perhaps there's an outside chance we're able to flip Maea Teuhema . I had not previously seen that until tonight. Couple of decent posters on OB hinted about a possibility.

Otherwise, I agree with SirHorn. I don't think we can flip Murray...but if we did...my feeling would be right up there close to Chris Simms, Cory Redding and Vince Young...perhaps even above Vince, cause I was expecting Vince to come our way. Chris Simms was an ungodly surprise.

I'm watching Damarkus Lodge in the Katy vs Cedar Hill game and it would be very nice for him to just keep his HS mascot's name in college.
