If aggy marketing includes the Swagchopper, then count that one against them. I'm embarrassed for Sumlin every time that thing is fired up.
Aggy had a good year when Manziel was a freshman. Then the next year we had to witness his alter-ego and aggy fell. They continued to fall this year and were . . . frankly, hard to watch. If your offense is struggling, play aggy and problems go away.
That said, I tend to agree that the one year Manziel won the heisman, it created a momentum that only the last year or two has started to subside. Once Manziel was gone, Sumlin got exposed.
Texas' best marketing is the product on the field. We've seen Charlie make a bowl with a bunch of pieces he had to mesh together on the fly. Win games, recruits will come. Win a lot of games, they'll knock each other over to get to Austin.
