Texas baseball notes

I talked to a friend that's a trainer, and here's a couple of things he told me. This is the same guy that told me Lammert would be the starter when most people thought it would be Turner. The comments in the parenthesis are just my own thoughts.

1-Apparently, Clemens is looking dominant in bullpen sessions. (It would not surprise me if Clemens becomes a starter)

2-Boswell is probably the best hitter on the team. (Too bad we didn't have him last year with that wrist injury)

3-Kyle Johnston has been impressing everyone, coaches and teammates. Skip apparently loves him. (I'm interested where we use his arm as a FR)

4-Parker French is the leader of the team. (Not really surprising)

5-Blake Goins has apparently been impressing the staff and looks drastically improved from his FR year.

Let's play two.

Appreciate an upbeat thread on an otherwise dark day.

Awww.  Does somebody need a keep calm meme?

[Bear19]

Don't need no stinking' meme. ðŸ˜

The overreactions on Twitter right now are actually kind of funny. I just saw someone Tweet, "my whole week is now ruined". I can only laugh. At the end of the day it's sports. I hate to see someone like Weathersby decommit, but at the end of the day we go on with life.
