BYU sweeps Nebraska and will face Texas in the semis.
BYU is an interesting team. They aren't a great passing team or "kill" team. They are huge size wise which is why they are the top blocking team in the country. I don't think we've played a team like BYU all year. They really aren't athletic, but they are big. They really aren't that great offensively but they are probably the best defensive team in the country. BYU will try to win at the net with blocks on defense. Texas has to be smart and not go for the hard kill every time. They also need to attack the middle a good bit to offset that size. Where Texas has a huge advantage is athleticism. I think Texas can out athlete BYU at the net. I will say BYU is a much better team than I thought, not sure why they were unseeded with only 4 losses (guess conference strength).

That BYU team is better than I expected. Very good team. I would still rather play them over Florida State or Washington who were upset.

Nice report, UTIS, as always. Here's hoping for another NC for Texas...in any sport. They all count
to me, regardless of what sport. I want UT to win in ALL sports...any competition against another
college team...because UT is the best ever, PERIOD...at everything!

That triple block that UNC ran gave the Horns fits. I expect BYU noticed that.
