My thoughts. 

1-Oregon should be ahead of Bama. (AP got it correct)
2-Oklahoma should not be ranked (AP got it correct). 
3-Auburn is ranked entirely too high. If not for some major luck they would have lost to Ole Miss. Auburn should be around 13 or 14, not 9.

They should have also lost to Ole Miss if not for a freak injury to Treadwell at the end of the game too.

Texas A&M went from 1 point last week to 83 this week, 2 behind OU. I do not think OU and Texas A&M are even close as teams.

Polls, like recruiting stars, are speculation and good for entertainment, but are not worth a lot. What happens on the playing field is what is important. But since everyone doesn't play, I guess it is all we have. Even if everyone played one another, there are a lot of teams that are close to one another, and either could beat the other on any given day.

Wonder when Texas will make it back into the rankings? Sometime next year?

IMO, you could put any team in the top 10 against FSU in the title game, and FSU loses.

For anybody that watches Bama play, their reality based reputation does not support preferential treatment... They just struggled to beat a team that has ZERO QB productivity. Jennings is a horrrrrrrrible qb.

Actually agree that Oregon and TCU should be ahead of Bama at this point. Bama has beaten 1 opponent still remaining in the polls at this point (3 loss LSU). They will have a chance to move up in these last weeks with contests against Miss. State and Auburn and actually control their own destiny at this point. What will be interesting is if Baylor wins the Big 12. Based off of resumes, TCU has a much better one at this point but their one loss happens to be the team at the top. Baylor needs to win these last games and convince the pollsters that they are legit against KSU. It is pretty much a guarantee at this point that a one-loss Pac 12 team and the SEC champ (if only 1 loss or less) are in if that is the way it plays out. Florida State controls its own destiny and will be in if they win out. Last spot will be up for grabs between Ohio State or a one-loss Big 12 champ if it all ended today.
