Big 12 Conference â€@Big12Conference 19m19 minutes ago#Big12FB "It's a matter of discipline. We're highly into it. Our players believe in it." Bill Snyder on K-State being least-penalized in FBS
upon my most solemn view, i am certain that i started to become completely sickened by the total lack of discipline being displayed by this season's TEXAS football team during the byu gridiron matchup. i shall never forget how i departed that particular game in austin.. i basically walked out of DKR in a trance all the way to the w hotel downtown. i really did not care about what happened upon the field during the north texas matchup. you know, brand new coaching staff, first game involving new coaching staff, brand new system, everyone seemingly a nervous wreck and all (well, i'm certain that you get the picture) i was more than willing to present the team the benefit of the doubt. however, byu completely humiliated / embarrassed TEXAS the year before in provo, utah... TEXAS, should have been more than ready (upon all facets) as per that particular game. not only did we lose the game upon the most profound and yet disgusting fashion... the team's total on field performance was deplorable!
as per those of you that do not really know me from the standpoint of just what i do for a living... i have been working in the middle east (afghanistan, iraq, dubai, uae) (since 2004) for several companies HALLIBURTON, KBR, INC. FLUOR GOVERNMENT GROUP, PAE, INC. my position as a SR OPERATIONS SPECIALIST (CAMP MANAGER) allows for me to journey into a completely hazardous / dangerous / hostile / austere environment, and work along side the US MILITARY to basically help to manage our men and women in uniform (upon basically all facets of their daily lives while in these austere environments).
ok, so you may now say... wow monarch! the HS stalwart, that is always in some strange silly season controversy / argument with his relentless pals streettopeschel vs ambassador joeywa vs the mods.... well yea, that very same monarch. you see, when i am at home within the states... i can let my hair down and be the normal fun and casual person that i am... all the while loving my TEXAS LONGHORNS completely during each season. however, when it comes to performing my official job duties... i now have to combine / infuse having fun and being casual, with a steely determination of complete and utter discipline. my job involves the daily supervision / management of many employees... their lives are of the utmost / foremost importance to me. and upon this particular avenue... there are no silly season antics. self discipline, is always paramount! there is simply no other way around it!
upon all actuality, i could really care less regarding the official record to date (3-5) of the TEXAS LONGHORNS. however, what i do care about.. is the way they actually perform their job duties while upon the field of play. CITIZENS OF TEXAS KNOW FOOTBALL! if i have said this once, i have said it a thousand times upon this great forum. football is hereby ingrained within our very souls... we breathe it, we live it, and we so love it. from the little league teams (my little 9 year old nephew plays for the beaumont bulls, and was just handed the team ball as per this past saturday's game) to the middle school teams... and on to the ever so popular high school gridiron matchups within our great state. TEXAS KNOWS FOOTBALL! therefore, it really cuts like a machete, to see the TEXAS LONGHORNS travel to manhattan, KS... and completely stink up the field with an over myriad of ridiculous penalties.. directly in front of one of the most well coached and disciplined football teams in the nation.
currently, as per wikipedia, coach bill snyder, is hereby compensated at $2, 850.000 annually.. to be at the helm of the kansas state wildcats. however, coach charlie strong of the TEXAS LONGHORNS is compensated at $5,000.000 annually. and yet, from what i watched upon the field of play during their gridiron matchup, left me completely nauseated. (can we all just imagine what the good people of kansas state must have been thinking while watching the TEXAS LONGHORNS) just how in the hell.. could this be? during many of the latter years as per mack brown... i very often found myself thinking the very same way. why is the TEXAS LONGHORNS so very undisciplined upon the field of play? why are the TEXAS LONGHORNS basically costing themselves gridiron wins... with such poor / erratic / overly penalized playing habits? what is happening with the overall coaching... from head coaches that are hereby compensated at such a high level ($5,000.000+) what is wrong at TEXAS upon this solemn regard? why are coaches like bill snyder, so very successful at countering this shocking problem....
