I soaked in 6A Pearland Dawson vs. Pasadena (Sam Rayburn) and just about fell asleep.  It was 60-0 at halftime with Dawson holding the lead and maintaining it for the duration of the game.  Final was 67-7, Dawson Eagles.

Zach's night at a glance: 176 yds passing, 3 Touchdowns, 1 INT, rushed for 74 yards and 2 touchdowns = 5 touchdowns on the night.

Kirk Johnson, Texas commit of San Jose Valley Christian – Valley Christian has won two straight since its 24-10 loss to Serra, but might not have star running back Kirk Johnson on Friday. Johnson injured an ankle Saturday in a win over Archbishop Riordan and had an MRI this week. Coach Mike Machado said the MRI result looked good, but it was unclear if Johnson would be available this week. Johnson suffered a season-ending shoulder injury in a win over St. Francis last year.

Tallahassee Lincoln and Texas commit John Burt won by forfeit by Taylor County High (Perry, Fla) Friday night. I could not get details as to why Taylor County had to forfeit but it goes down as a 2-0 win for Lincoln. Burt's stats will be hurt by the lack of production from tonight.

So far this season he has 831 all purpose yards for a 138 per game average.

liberty hill 37, boerne 28. bummer. we kept a drive alive with a running into the kicker and then after they scored fumbled the kickoff to set up another td. down 14-0 before the offense took the field. couldn't overcome it. 

LH runs an old school wing-T.like watching something from the 50s. deceptive as hell and they run it beautifully.

well...bandera....you're in trouble next week.
