We're halfway through the schedule now and we have all seen how we have improved.  Time to make a few predictions and I will give you mine:

Iowa State - Austin - This will be the easiest of the games left and it won't be all that easy.  However, the Horns will be hungry for a win and they are a confident bunch now.

31-6  Texas

Kansas State - Manhattan - The wizard knows their only chance is to confuse Swoopes.  And confuse him they will.  In addition he will try to exploit our LB weakness by running the ball right at Edmond and up the middle.  In the end, it won't help - we are really getting to be a good team

20-10  Texas

Texas Tech - Lubbock - The sand aggies will be frothing at the mouth and the boy toy will know this is a key game for his residency there.  But Texas is coming and they are bringing hell with them.

44 - 13  Texas

West Virginia - Austin -  Holgorson will be playing against a defense that has seen a lot better spreads than he will run.  In Austin, with a revitalized crowd.  It won't be pretty.

51 - 10  Texas

Oklahoma State - Stillwater - The cowboys were decimated with graduation and have been grossly overrated all year.  Texas will point this out to them

35 - 17  Texas

TCU - Austin - A scary game.  TCU's defense is legitimate - don't let the Baylor game fool you.  Patterson is a top notch defensive mind and he will have the frogs ready for us.  It will be a bloody battle but we will have had two weeks to prepare for them.  The blood will mostly be from them.

21 - 17  Texas

We will go to a bowl game - probably the Alamo Bowl.

I'd go:

Iowa State | 31-7 W

@ Kansas State | 21-14 W

@ Texas Tech | 34-14 W

West Virginia | 28-17 W

@ Oklahoma State | 35-28 W

TCU | 28-21 L

four wins by 18 or more with a high of 41?

barkeep...i'll have what he's having.
I'm making the assumption that our offense finally starts clicking and our defense will score as well.  In addition, outside of TCU, we won't see defenses like we have in the first half of the season.  At least we won't see any that will out talent our offense.
