We’re through nonconference games – before conference play starts, we’d really appreciate some feedback on the content being delivered. The contributors are working hard to bring you great coverage and we’d like to get more interaction & discussion on the pieces they write.

With that in mind, what do you like? Not like? What’s lacking? What’s overdone? Is there a new idea that you think we should add to the weekly content schedule?

Be specific and mention an article. Be general and talk about the site as a whole. Either way, we want your feedback.

This community will only be as good as the members. The articles need to promote thoughtful discussion and make it worth spending time on the site and talking sports.

For example: we’re moving the Q&A to a bi-monthly feature (instead of every week). It wasn’t generating much of a response (in terms of questions asked, or discussion of the article), so we’re going to do it every-other week in hopes of generating more interest.

We want to make sure the content is meeting your needs, so please take a minute and give us your thoughts…

This will not answer any of your questions but in a suck up attempt I will say it anyway. I find myself reading the board much more often now. I think that is a good thing.

I like the move to EOW on QA.  I enjoy the Burnt Ends segment, State of the Program, Kylie's Student Perspective and the Quick Takes. 

I read most all of the content, but since you're looking for suggestions/feedback, I've got a recommendation. 

For the pinned content that are linked to articles within the site, why not post the info in the thread as well?  That is what will help with getting more discussion in a thread. 

For example, Marion's State of the Program post is: Marian Hinton's look at where Texas football is, as a program - BABY STEPS

This means the reader must click on the link to read the article.  Then come back to the BOB to post their thoughts about it.

If you put the content both inside the body of the post, as well as linked, it would probably be more beneficial for generating discussion amongst the members. 

I would recommend doing this for a few weeks and see how the discussion goes.  I could be completely wrong.

I like it a great deal. Much better discussion boards than OB and 24/7. I won't ever go back to OB.

I like your stuff. Also like 24/7. Bobby, Jeff and the others are very good. I go both places every day, sometimes multiple times.

Posting the article in the thread probably won't let it look as "pretty", but sacrificing pretty for utility make sense in this case.

I am enjoying the site and how mature the majority of the conversations are.

I think HS is headed in the right direction. As members of other sites get to the point where they can't stand the ongoing BS, you will see them come here. Hopefully we can keep the immature out.

I do agree that the article posts are a bit awkward. Clicking in the post to read the article and coming back seems a little weird. However I think it is fine on some articles.

The performance of the site is really good now.

Keep up the good work.

This is my home for Horn Sports and the other sites are being visited less and less. I mean, sure they have more activity on the forums due to their age, most of the posts are crap.

I love the "back to top" feature and it really saves time. Aside from adding more forums and separating topics (football, baseball, basketball, recruiting, off topic, etc.) I can't really think of any improvements. You guys have done a great job!!
