The Texas Longhorns will open their inaugural season as members of the SEC with a nonconference home game against the Colorado State Rams on August 31. The game will be played at Darrell K. Royal – Texas Memorial Stadium and will kickoff at 2:30 PM, with ESPN televising it.
The Longhorns and Rams have met just once on the gridiron (1975), with Texas winning the meeting 46-0 in Austin.
