Quinn Ewers

Quinn Ewers, Texas’ standout quarterback, is officially heading to the NFL after announcing his decision to enter the 2025 NFL Draft. Despite speculation he might transfer, Ewers opted to continue pursuing his dream of playing at the next level.

His time at Texas was marked by resilience and growth, leading the Longhorns to a Big 12 championship, an SEC championship appearance, and two consecutive College Football Playoff semifinals. Over three years, Ewers threw for 9,128 yards, 68 touchdowns, and completed 64.3% of his passes.

Once the nation’s top recruit, Ewers faced immense expectations from fans but remained focused on his team and coaches. His leadership and dedication earned respect from teammates and head coach Steve Sarkisian. While injuries and setbacks challenged him, Ewers consistently bounced back, proving his determination and maturity.

Based on his performances, Ewers can be a prime contributor to any team that drafts him. Due to his raw potential, many are excited on how he improves the chances of getting his future team a 2025 Superbowl appearance. While his Texas career ended in a tough loss to Ohio State, Ewers’ dream of football greatness remains alive as he prepares for the challenges and opportunities of professional football.

Isaiah Bond

Texas wide receiver Isaiah Bond has declared for the 2025 NFL Draft after an impressive three-year college career split between Alabama and Texas. Renowned for his elite speed, Bond was clocked at over 22 mph during a game against UTSA, solidifying his status as one of the fastest players in the draft.

Ranked as the No. 6 wide receiver in Mel Kiper Jr. ‘s draft rankings, Bond recorded 34 catches for 540 yards and five touchdowns in his lone season at Texas, adding 98 rushing yards and a touchdown.

Previously at Alabama, Bond gained national attention in 2023 with his iconic “Gravedigger” catch on fourth-and-31, keeping Alabama’s playoff hopes alive. With 99 career catches for 1,428 yards and 10 touchdowns, the 5’11”, 180-pound prospect aims to prove he’s the most explosive receiver in the draft. Bond sees limitless potential in his game, having only started playing wide receiver in high school, and is focused on showcasing his athleticism and work ethic during the draft process.

Kelvin Banks Jr

Kelvin Banks Jr., Texas’ star left tackle, is set to make waves in the 2025 NFL Draft as one of the top offensive line prospects. A unanimous first-team All-American, Banks became the first Longhorn to win both the Outland and Lombardi Awards in a single season, solidifying his reputation as the nation’s best at his position.

With 39 consecutive starts before an ankle injury, Banks allowed only three sacks in his first 37 games, showcasing consistency and dominance in pass protection. Draft experts unanimously rank him as the top offensive tackle prospect, with projections placing him in the first round, potentially in the top 10.

Banks’ athleticism, lateral movement, and strong blocking skills make him a valuable asset for NFL teams, especially in zone schemes. While his run-blocking balance needs improvement, his relentless work ethic and dedication to protecting his quarterback position him as a future NFL star. And with FanDuel’s NFL Draft Matchup Predictions, fans are eagerly looking forward to his growth.

Cameron Williams

Texas right tackle Cameron Williams has declared for the 2025 NFL Draft after three seasons with the Longhorns, where he played 37 games and became a full-time starter in his final season.

The 6-foot-5, 335-pound former three-star recruit saw a significant rise in his draft stock, impressing scouts with his size and athleticism. Despite earning Pro Football Focus grades of 72.6 in pass blocking and 70.8 in run blocking, Williams’ season was marred by inconsistency, including 16 penalties in 15 games.

Williams missed Texas’ College Football Playoff game against Clemson due to injury but returned for the semifinal against Ohio State, where he struggled and allowed a game-changing strip-sack.

Though his performance drew criticism, NFL scouts view his physical tools and potential as first-round caliber. With proper development, Williams has the attributes to excel at the next level, making him an intriguing prospect in the draft.

Jahdae Barron

Jahdae Barron, a versatile defensive back from Texas, is another top prospect for the 2025 NFL Draft. Standing at 5’11” and 200 pounds, Barron excels in multiple roles, including cornerback, nickel, and safety, showcasing adaptability, making him a valuable defensive asset.

Known for his high motor, physicality, and football IQ, he impacts both the run and pass game. Barron’s zone coverage skills stand out, with his ability to read quarterbacks and defend larger receivers with strong ball skills.

Despite his short-area quickness, concerns include occasional hesitation when reacting and a lack of elite long speed to keep up with faster vertical threats. In the run game, Barron thrives with his aggressive nature, secure tackling, and willingness to play near the line of scrimmage. Projected as a first-round pick, Barron’s toughness, versatility, and competitive edge position him as a key contributor for NFL teams seeking defensive flexibility.

Conclusion

The 2025 NFL Draft promises to showcase a new wave of Texas Longhorns talent ready to elevate the game. These players bring unmatched skill, determination, and the potential to shine on football’s grandest stage. Their journey to greatness starts now.
