Steve Sarkisian and DL coach Kenny Baker are set to lose quite a bit of production in the defensive tackle room following the 2024 season, and the duo secured an important commitment Saturday in helping rebuild the room with the pledge of Purdue transfer Cole Brevard.
Brevard started his career at Penn State before transferring to Purdue and starting the last two seasons. The 6’3, 333-pounder has 8 career TFLs and 2.5 sacks. He was given All-Big Ten Honorable Mention honors in 2024.
With Alfred Collins, Vernon Broughton, Jermayne Lole and Bill Norton set to depart following the season, Brevard will factor into the rotation immediately in 2025.
