Emaree Winston is a 4-star tight end prospect out of Calhoun, Georgia in the Class of 2025. The Longhorns offered him earlier this spring and he eventually whittled down his list to a Top-3 of UCF, Ohio State and Texas. Texas won that battle, as the 6-2, 235 pound playmaker announced his commitment to Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns on Monday evening.
Winston is is ranked as the 12th best tight end in the country and ther 30th best player in the state of Georgia according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.
He joins quarterback 4-star QB KJ Lacey (Saraland – Saraland, Alabama) as the lone commits in the Longhorns’ 2025 Recruiting Class.
