Longhorns lose leading rusher Tre Wisner to transfer portal

The Texas Longhorns lost their fourth running back to the transfer portal, as junior Tre Wisner announced his intentions to enter the transfer portal on Friday via his Instagram account.

Wisner led the Longhorns in rushing yards this season with 597 yards and three touchdowns, including a 155 yard performance against Texas A&M in the team's last regular season game. His 2024 campaign saw him produce 1,064 yards and five touchdowns.
