Georgetown stars Jett Walker and Kaden Scherer have both flipped their commitments to Texas, choosing to stay close to home and bolster the Longhorns’ future.
Walker, a 6-foot-2, 210-pound running back, decommitted from Minnesota earlier this week. The explosive playmaker was recently voted the 8-5A Division I District MVP after a dominant senior campaign.
His teammate, Kaden Scherer, also made the switch—flipping from Stanford to Texas. The 6-foot-6, 285-pound offensive tackle brings big-time size and upside to the Longhorns’ offensive line room.
The pair staying home gives Texas two high-upside, in-state additions with bright futures in Austin.
