After making Kobe Pryor’s top 10, the Texas Longhorns received more good news in the ground-game department. Four-star running back Jo’Quavious Marks announced on Monday that Texas has made his top 10 list of schools.

Jo’Quavious Marks is a four-star running back out of Atlanta, Georgia. On Monday he announced the programs he will be focusing on, and the Longhorns have a seat at the table along with nine other Power Five programs.

Florida State, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Mississippi State, Nebraska, North Carolina, Penn State, Purdue, Tennessee, and Texas, are all in the running to land the 2020 recruit’s signature.

Marks is currently rated as the No. 12 running back in the nation and the No. 14 player in the state of Georgia per 247Sports.

The 5-foot-11, 190 pound Carver High School player, has recorded 4,872 total rush yards in three years of varsity football.

Marks has also recorded 37 total touchdowns and averages 143.3 yards per game, with a whopping average of 10.8 yards per carry.

Per ESPN, Marks runs a 4.34 second shuttle and has a vertical of 31.6 inches, not bad for the No. 135 ranked player in the nation.

The Longhorns offered Marks back in August of last year, though he has only visited campus once. Marks was on the Forty Acres on September 8, to see Texas notch a win over Tulsa.

Currently, Marks’ Crystal Ball Prediction favors Florida State and Mississippi State, though with either an unofficial or official visit to Texas, that may change.

The Longhorns have been doing well recruiting out of Georgia as of late, with two 2020 running backs listing Texas as a top destination, and the signing of Kenyatta Watson II and Derrian Brown in 2019’s cycle.
