Just head Hnderson was planning on majoring in communications, then he changed to pre med, then photography, then pre med again, then communications, then liberal arts, then communications AGAIN, then liberal arts, then settled on contingency planning.

ALL YESTERDAY!!

Fasten your seat belts! He may end up at veterinarian.

Someone needs to sit down with this kid and have a talk with him. I don't care what school he ends up at, but the fact he is this unfocused on a major decision in his life screams that he isn't getting the counseling he needs. If he has the potential people claim he has, it would be sad to see him waste it by listening to the wrong people or to coaches who are looking out for their interests and not his. Someone needs to talk with him and start getting him focused on a path to reach his goals. He's on the verge of becoming another Thomas Johnson.

Suspect he will end up in liberal arts or some such

Everyone understands I was being funny right?
No one jokes about veterinarians. I had an uncle who worked at the VA and told me about all the great things those soldiers and sailors did to serve our country. If Henderson ends up going to aggy, enrolls in the corps, enters the military and becomes a veterinarian like all the others who served their country, it's ok with me.

Sounds like he's majoring in how to get to the NFL. It's sad really. One career ending injury and he will wish that he put more thought into his future. You know what they say, never put all of your eggs in one basket! There's a reason why this is an old saying!

When I read veterinarian I think of an animal doctor. Not a veteran......

........ And Google supports my thinking....

... Unless you're talking about a veterinarian who BECOMES a veteran. Then that's something different.

He's a slam dunk for Agricultural Studies. I think that's a requirement for Ag footballers...

Ag Leadership is their big major over there. It's nice to know the taxpayers are subsidizing programs like that. Harvard, MIT, Yale and Princeton are all envious they can't match that program, no doubt.

Zaycoven will have plenty of options --

Anyone remember aggy Antoine Wright?

He told Bob Costas on HBO he received a better education in high school than in college.

"Once I got to college, I kind of let my hair down a little bit," Wright says. "I don't have to write term papers any more — I just have to get a grade now and play basketball."
Costas:"Tell me what it was like in these agriculture classes [at A&M]."

Wright: "In certain classes you see, you know, a quarterback, me, a running back, and then a farmer. So, it definitely was a little bizarre. But, we're all in poultry science for a reason. We're in this class because we need to get this grade. We're not really trying to learn about chickens."

Costas: "You took one course in floral design. What was that like?"

Wright: "It's not as easy as it sounds, to be honest with you. But they put me in there with a couple of athletes. You're gonna ask me a question about floral design? I can't answer it because I needed a grade."

For those who don't know about the ag school's major for athletes, it adds meaning for learners, and value to the publics. They offer both bachelor’s and master’s degrees. We aren't quite sure which bachelor or master they are talking about but we are talking about aggy here. As long as they are adding synergy to the faculty, the faculty members have scholarship, and the work of the faculty is being expressed, all is good.

There is talk about adding a PhD program, also. The syllabus for that program is the same as for the undergrad degree, but with an added course on the use of proper nouns, the difference between a comma and a semi-colon, and how to write a paragraph without every sentence beginning with the word "the." If this description of the program is any indication, there is good reason they haven't been authorized to award more than four undergraduate, three graduate and two doctoral degrees. Eventually, they will find those lucky nine people.

Remember, this is allegedly a world-class, elite university. The bestest of the bestest.

Seriously pre-med to photography--is that legit or a joke? If true then it's apparent he's getting a lot of advising on football and not on an education. That's really sad-- to be used by a university for football and no one gives a damn about a future outside that. I could make an aggie joke right here but I'm better than that.

I'm not going to bash an 18 year old kid for changing schools, but this kid is Thomas Johnson level crazy. Texas brings in a defensive minded head coach with a track record of building top defenses and the guy decommits to go to Tech, then back to Texas then to aggy, a schooi that literally hasn't had a defense in Henderson's lifetime and has a head coach who has NEVER coached a team that could play defense.

At some point, a coach has to sense the prospect has issues. Obviously, Sumlin doesn't sense this. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm guessing Henderson doesn't last two years at aggy. I'm thinking we got lucky that this kid bailed on us. He doesn't seem to have thought out what he is looking for and I can't assume any commitment he is willing to make is well thought out.

Wonder if Chuck will have a curse similar to that of Mack for those children that simply can't make up their minds?
