Wow Stidham just decommitted from Tech

There is apparently some funny business going on with Stidham. Apparently he's not living with his family but with some guy that played QB for Briles at Stephenville, Matt Copeland. The "handler" tag is being thrown around.

While I wouldn't doubt it, Petty is leaving and considering how well Tech true freshman QB Mahommes did the last 3-4 games.  Mahommes broke the Big 12 Freshman passing record with 600 yards versus Baylor.  

I am sure that plays a role into his decision.

That will stop once Charlie Strong's defenses start stopping Art Briles offenses. And I think they will.

CFS' D only gave up 21 to Baylor. . . 

Baylor's worst performance of the year. . .

My question, is he better than Gentry?   Been told about the same but I am no expert. . .

But since he never had any real interest in TEXAS . .. why is this an issue today?

What we need is a transfer or JUCO who can be here in Jan. . . . .

I think this staff has proven if they thought there was a JUCO QB out there who would start next season, the kid would have verbally comitted by this time.  I'm not ready to give up on Heard as I know what I saw at Denton Guyer and should win the job in the offseason.
