Thought some of you might be interested in this. Times Higher Education recently updated their world university rankings. The University of Texas is at 28th in the world.

Schools in Texas:

28) The University of Texas at Austin
69) Rice
141) Texas A&M
201-225) University of Texas at Dallas

Didn't look past that.

UT Dallas will likely be ahead of A&M in the next couple years. They are drastically improving in most academic rankings. A&M is declining in most academic rankings. Once the full extent of Perry's policies are felt, A&M is going to be in trouble. Say what you will about Powers, but I'll always respect that man for not allowing Perry and his cronies to take over at Texas. A&M is going to wish they didn't succumb to Perry in about 2 or 3 years.
