Transfer QB Max Wittek did not end up visiting #Louisville, per source. Looks good for Texas, who hosts him again in two weeks.

Per Jeremy Fowler

If Ash holds off Wittek (if he commits to Texas) for starter at QB, will it cause problems from Wittek to the team. Wittek if he commits," he himself will expect to start" and he did not even win the QB position at USC.

OR am I off base, thinking this way?

I like the fact that it appears wittek has the confidence to come to the 40 acres and compete for the number one QB spot. Gotta have the moxie, but hopefully the talent and smarts as well. As always, save that redshirt for heard. With that said, I do like ash and feel he can really be a good QB with good coaching and a competent line. I hope he stays healthy and excels on the field, and of course off the field with his health.

You're off base.

A legitimate concern, but I don't believe Coach Strong is the type to promise Wittek a starting job.

Just my opinion
