[joeywa]

Ran into Slim on the way into the ballpark. I tolerated it because he outkicked his coverage with the company he was keeping.

Questions that need answering:

• Does this mean he'll be on his best behavior tonight?
• What cap was he wearing?
• Has he waved to you from the suite yet?

[joeywa]

Good start for Sawyer. Amazing what happens when Sawyer gets ahead in the count.

That can be said for most pitchers.

[utisdabomb12]

Good start at the plate. Patience.

[utisdabomb12]

This pitcher can't repeat his delivery. Be patient he can't throw strikes.

[joeywa]

Take is the order of the day here.

[joeywa]

Nice start.  Confidence breeds confidence.

[utisdabomb12]

I like this start.

[utisdabomb12]

Take is the order of the day here.

IMO we've been swinging at entirely too many pitches early in the count.

[joeywa]

Shaw got sucked in to chasing there.  Oh well, like the start.

[utisdabomb12]

Not sure this guy can locate anything other than his fastball. Just be patient and get ahead in counts and he's going to give you batting practice.

[utisdabomb12]

Sawyer hanging his breaking ball a little bit but he's throwing strikes, I can live with it.

[utisdabomb12]

What a freaking play by Baker at SS.

[joeywa]

MAJOR league play by Baker!  Damn! Flashing Leather!

[Matt Cotcher]

B1st

Horns score a pair of runs on solid execution at the plate & good patience. Catu & Shaw strand runners

T2nd

Tinkham, F8

Hilliard, K swinging

Farris, 6-3 great play by Baker deep backhand in the hole, then tough throw gets him for out #3.

Headed to B2nd

WSU - 0

UT - 2

[Matt Cotcher]

Having serous laptop trouble, but got the crash cart out & things seem okay for now.

[utisdabomb12]

This pitcher actually has an arm but has terrible mechanics.

[utisdabomb12]

Fantastic at bat from the Freshman.

[utisdabomb12]

No clue how Marlow hit that.

[Matt Cotcher]

B2nd

Clemens, L8 on a 1-1 pitch. Well hit ball but a little too far in on his hands.

Gurwitz, full count then infield single (ball off P can't be fielded cleanly) - runner at 1B with 1 out

Baker, Gurwitz on move with hit & run and Baker lofts a single into LF, runners at 1B & 3B with 1 out

Marlow, RBI single to LF, run scores, runners at 1B & 2B with 1 out

Horns up 3-0 and WSU is out to the mound
