Who sticks the fork in Mack? (Besides Mack!!)

Mack is reported to have said he wants to come back for 2014 if he wins or ties for the Big 12 championship but it is hard to imagine him surviving with a tie that does not result in a BCS Bowl and leaves UT with an 8-9 win season and a win in a minor bowl. Every real horn fan wants UT to win all of its games but most rational people would agree that the Mack/Case combination is unlikely to win out this year. Assuming UT does not win out, which team is most likely to stick the fork in Mack? My vote is Baylor. 3 losses in 4 years to Baylor should be the death knell for any UT coach.

Mack must know that he will not be retained by the new AD. That said I think Baylor will beat us. I just do not think we can score enough to keep up with them.

By some weird chance we win the Big 12, we would be pitted against a pretty good team. The rest of the country is not down like the Big 12.

Agreed. I think too many people are giving Baylor far too much credit. The best team they've played this year (KSU) is the same team we handled pretty well. IF Baylor keeps it up then yeah, they may put an ass whipping on us but I don't see it happening. I think we beat'em again this year.

Baylor will beat us pretty good. I think Tech and OSU will give us a run and we'll lose to one of the two, if not both.
