Yes, I know that we've historically loathed Arky, too, but count me as one Orangeblood who'll be pulling hard for the Hogs to beat aggy for the foreseeable future. They got Coach Morris for half the price of Jimbo. Check out Ian Boyd's excellent analysis.  ;)

Me too. With chad at arky now it will be interesting to see if Aggy and their 7.5 million dollar coach can go .500 in their division? I think it will be very hard. They will be who they have always been......7-5 on average and just a little more in debt to their coach. Other than that I see nothing changing for them.

I stated on a different thread that aggy may regret not hiring Morris. Guess we'll find out sooner than later.

I'm betting Morris ends up being the better hire. Fischer has some name recognition and there will be some hubbub at first with all that, but Morris will  end up taking some elite recruits out of Texas and likely off of Aggy's hit list.

They'll hurt our recruiting, too, though not as much as aggy.

Spread QBs will want to play for Morris.

Incidentally, we get to play them in FayettNam in 2021.

And how delicious will it be for Morris - an aggy - to beat A&M consistently, finish higher in the West, win key recruiting battles for #BeastTX kids, and then refuse an aggy offer after A&M shit-cans Jimbo?

That's my dream, anyway.  :D

I'll be interesting to see if the Horns and Arky have the same head coaches in 2021. Seems head coaching gigs have a short shelf life these days.
