Whats your name, and where you from?

Hi, I am Tom, and I'm an alcoholic. OOPS..wrong post.

I live in Dallas and attended Texas for two years in early 70's. I got my degree from North Texas.

I should never be taken too seriously.

Hook Em!

I'm Ben. Born and raised in FW (EHHS '82). UT '86 Journalism degree (PR major, Poli Sci minor). Masters/doctorate from Southwestern/New Orleans Bapt seminaries. Moved to SC in '97-2007 youth/singles min, then as pastor. Now living in Sylvester GA (between Albany and Tifton in SW Ga) where I currently pastor a Baptist church. Incredible wife (Cotulla native) and two perpetually famished teenage boys. God is good. Founding and lone member South Ga Longhorn Fan Club. Searching for good briskit and Texmex.

I'm Patrick. Raised in Austin in the 60's, and started out at UT. I didn't finish my degree there but I did at another university. Met my wife at UT, who did graduate from there, and we moved to the Waco area where her family is from. I've been a "my blood bleeds burnt orange" Longhorn fan as long as I can remember and when they lose, especially when they lose big, I'm depressed for months. I'm registered on several of these kind of sites and it's always great to get other viewpoints and current information. Whoever took the risk to start this - thanks!, looks like a nice group of common minded Longhorn fans. Hook 'Em! :)

I'm Cesar. 2nd generation Longhorn raising a 3rd generation. Born and raised in Austin, but lived up and down the I-35 corridor with a short stay in North Carolina. Graduated from Bowie HS and started at UT-Austin in '94, but my 10-year degree plan saw me graduate from A&M. Yes, my parents still love me. Came back and got a Masters at UT-Austin. Hook 'em.

My name is Kyle. I was born in Port Arthur, Texas. Raised there by strong Longhorn Family. Lived in Abilene, DFW, NJ, and for 15 years in Central Texas. Love my horns and support them in many ways.

Oh yeah. I am a Pisces and I like long walks by the beach and puppies.
You're not a friend of Bob Stoops then I guess ;)

My name is Sean and I grew up in Austin and I'm a Reagan Raider. I spent time in the Army and moved around a bit but always knew I'd find my way back home to the city with Burnt Orange sunsets. Currently live in P-ville and getting ready ot get married. Have 2 daughters, a son, and 2 grand-kids and loving life in Longhorn Country!!!

Close enough to be one of the Wilco Horns. We should all get a drink sometime down the road. Snuffys in Hutto is good for an invasion.

I graduated from UT in 2011 with two degrees. I was able to work for the Texas Football team for 7 years. Seven fantastic, stressful, exciting, entertaining years. My first year at UT, and with the team for that matter, was our national title year. Part of me wishes I was still there during this time so that I would have some insight into what is going on, but at the same time I'm glad I'm gone and enjoying this show from the sideline. I wasn't ever able to discuss and post on message boards due to my affiliation with the team, so I'm excited to have the chance to now! HOOK'EM!

Snuffys is one of the best little secrets along with The Texan Cafe out your way. I used to live in Thrall and would often pick up a couple of those burgers on the way home. I'm always game for Snuffys.

My name is Clif. Born and mostly raised in Baytown, TX. Lived in Central AR now for over 30 years. Love the Horns and love Texas!

Really glad I found this board, it's so hard to get real Longhorn info in the land of the pigs!

somehow missed this thread til now. sorry.

my name is joe morgan, 65, born and raised right here in the river city and pretty much on the UT campus where my Dad was a professor for over 50 years. inveterate smart ass old fart who loves Texas history, telling stories and swapping lies. love the back and forth on the board and rarely take anything seriously.

was just presented with my second grandchild this last weekend. a boy this time. he bats left and throws right. hates to bunt. hits with some power but is still having a little trouble with the curveball.

huge UT baseball fan who can be found at DFF most games critiquing the umpiring from behind home plate on row 10, section 107.

long time OB member (now sufferer).

used to be on the boards for the info but time has a way of changing that perspective. now don't give a crap about the info. mainly just here to enjoy the company of a community of friends and conversation about any old thing.

my email is gus.lonesomedove@gmail.com if anyone wants to get a hold of me, but i'm bad about remembering to check it every day.

thanks for having me.

I just missed out on some large acreage in Bulverde. A question of mineral rights could not be resolved and the lawyers were smelling blood in the water. I love that area, as does my wife. She wants to move there to get me away from what little work I keep doing. We love the Panther area.
