Whats your name, and where you from?

I'm Tom..actually not a native Texan, born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. First fell in love with the Horns watching them at the College World Series and never looked back.

My name is Rick and I live in San Antonio. I am a second generation Longhorn and graduated in 88. My Dad, Mom and I are staunch longhorn fans although my dad left us four years ago. Love this site and thanks to all for your inside info!

I am David born and raised in Austin (Austin High). I am a Real Estate Appraiser and am married with three sons in college. Glad to be here away from the venom that TOS has become.
Personal Motto : Live a life that glorifies Christ, because you may be the only Bible some people ever read.

I've always wanted to know - what does TOS stand for?

Grew up in Austin, Brykerwoods elementary, UJH and O'Henry Jr. High, Austin High - 1958, UT (Biology) - 1962, Med school (Pediatrics) - 1966, Internship and residency - 1969, Baylor research-1974, general practice, Houston - 2010 (semi-retired). Live in Katy, Texas with a small ranch in Brenham - housing a few scroungy Longhorns and one sweetheart Brahma - none of which my grandkids will let me sell.

Correct....The Other Site.....OB would discourage other site names so this OBism took root.........

Other OBism's include things like mindbottling and allsome. Most were just typos that the grammernazi belittled you about and then the term became part of the lore somewhat. TOS can be a strange place at times, more about you knowing the rules and lingo than information.

My name is John. I grew up in Jefferson, graduated UT College of Pharmacy in 1971, went to work for my Uncle Sam for two years, met and married my wife and we returned to Jefferson in 1974. We are both now retired. This has become my first Longhorn site to check in the mornings. I really enjoy and appreciate it.

My name is Mark. I grew up in Daingerfield, now live in Lewisville. I own and operate a landscape company which serves the DFW, Waco, Temple and Austin areas. I also have a Longhorn in San Antonio we service.

I played ball at Daingerfield, was a QB. However, I was probably better in baseball where I was a pretty dominating pitcher. Was recruited by Gustafson at one point, also had the Phillies and Reds show up at one of my games with radar guns. I threw in the low 90s but my knee buckler was the curve. So there's my claim to fame in sports.

I am a very proud father of five kids (1 by my wife's previous marriage), my youngest is a senior at Lewisville. I can see the end of the tunnel!

I just turned 50 a few days ago and am pretty bitter about it. FYI.

I have a late aunt who was once a good friend of Barry Switzer. She was once in the hospital in Norman. We went to visit her there. While in her room, Switzer walks in along with an ego twice as big. At age 10, I walked out of the room as the man was equal with Satan in my mind.

I love all things Texas. My back flagstone patio was made with flagstones I had collected over time from all parts of this state.

This is a great board and that's probably a reflection of the guys who run it and how they're doing it. Good things are happening here.

Name is Jeremy and I'm from good ole' Brownwood, Texas. Grew up a Longhorn fan but ended up saving a ton of money going to school down in San Marcos. Really love this new site, much more friendly around these parts and not a lot of look at me ruin this whole post for everyone type stuff. Thank God for that.
