Whats your name, and where you from?

Many new faces. Sound off.
I was looking for a thread like this, but couldn't find it. So I'm just copying what I wrote in another thread.

I'm relatively new here. I was, and still are because of the price, a subscriber at ESPN. But when they shut down their HornsNation section, I needed a new place to get recruiting info. I was split between 24/7 and OB. I'm glad I choose 24/7, because you guys are really pointing out all the things I was afraid was the situation over at OB. I stumbled across this site a long time ago, but forgot about it. It was brought up to me a few weeks ago, and I'm extremely happy about that! You guys deliver all the news on the coaching search, that 24/7 does not want to give. A lot of valid points and useful users. I will not be able to share any info at all, since I don't know much (I know a guy at TCU who knows a few people), but I will share my opinion every now and then. I really look forward to see this site grow! From what I've seen these last few weeks, this is a site I will visit many times doing the day.

A litlle bit about myself: Born and raised in Denmark. Never been outside of Europe, but plan to visit the US soon for a road trip with a friend of mine. I'm 19 and a senior at Aarhus Business College. I'm the lead recruiting/college/draft writer for the biggest football community in Denmark, maybe even the biggest football community in Scandinavia. I'm not sure about that, though.

Oh, and sorry for the grammar. I'm trying the best I can to get it right.

Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.

Oh wait. Never mind.

Name is Dennis. Born in Big Spring. Raised in Memorial. Not a T-Shirt Fan.

Name is Joe. Raised in Jacksonville, graduated in '65. Retired from General Motors and live outside of Troup. Been a season ticket holder for 12 years but the last four have been so frustrating I have not attended but sold the tickets to a friend.

Born in Dallas, grew up in Farmers Branch/ Carrollton/ Lewisville, Texas & Nashville, Tennessee. Been in the service and am retired disabled Vet. Live in Aubrey, now. I'm so happy and proud to be home.

I have always cheered the Horns. UT is the flagship university of the great state of Texas. We've been great and will rise again.

I hope to make more friends and enjoy the great information shared on this site.

I was wondering just the other day about starting up this thread again since the latest rush of Longhorn supporters arrived..

My name is Preston, born in a small west Texas town 99.9% of the other Texans have never heard of (damn, I hate ending a sentence with a preposition). Dickens, about 60 miles east of Lubbock.

USAF veteran, 1958-1965 (yes I am OLD).

Graduated from UT in 1971.

Became a widower in June.

Live in Rocklin California (suburb of Sacramento). Lived in Austin and Bastrop until September 2012.

My name is Richard. Born in San Angelo, but grew up in Garland. Graduated from Angelo State in 73. Attended my first Texas game in 1960 and have been a fan ever since.

I lived in Bastrop for about six years and for the last 18 months I lived downtown. The first 4 1/2 I lived just off the road that goes to Colovista, and that house was one of those that burned. Got out about six months before the fire.

There was a large fire between here and Lake Tahoe late this summer. I can't seem to get away from those damned things.

I have been a longhorn fan since I was 8 years old (1978 ). Been a season ticket holder for 10 years. Raised in Vernon Texas, but currently living in Fort Worth.

From Port Lavaca. UT 2005. Been a huge sports fan since I was a little girl. Living between DFW and San Francisco. Love this new website. A lurker on OB and IT. Keep up the great work guys!

1st post. Not even sure what I'm doing here.

Feel like I'm cheating. Long time OB member but ventured over to check it out. Doubt I'll ever give it up b/c of the craziness but enjoying what I see here.

- 84 grad

- season ticket holder since 2000 when I moved back to Texas

- live in Round Rock now. Looking to move to Austin soon.
