Personally I'm especially glad to see you here in time for baseball season, especially considering you are one the few that enjoys seeing Augie bunt his cleanup hitter as much as I do. Good to see a guy a month older than me here also.

I know him personally and have found him to be a gentleman and scholar, a wealth of wisdom and life experience and it's a pleasure to just be around him. BTW, If you ever want to know anything about Lonesome Dove, he's your guy.

This site just went to hell in a hand bag. Setting all bull aside Slim is a really great guy I have had the pleasure of meeting. Slim had tore my ass up a few times on a post I wrote.
