Texas 16 ou 30 - we aren’t a very good football team right now. We have so much talent but right now it’s not cohesive, the coaching is very mid and the team complacent. I’ll be predicting a lot of losses going forward unless some major change. Arch is going to be running for his life the rest of the season with our very porous OLine.

#24 South Florida (4-1) at North Texas (5-0) - The Bulls are battle tested. The Mean Green are not. I'll take South Florida in a close one.

#1 Ohio State (5-0) at #17 Illinoiis (5-1) - and another Big X school slides into anomonity. OSU big time winner.

#8 Alabama (4-1) at #14 Missouri (5-0) - the winner of this game can solidify their slot in the playoff picture. I just can't see Missouri winning this one. 'Bama in a dog fight for about 3 quarters.

#7 Indiana (5-0) at #3 Oregon (5-0) - As much as I would like Indiana to win this one, I don't think they can. They take their first loss.

Nebraska (4--1) at Maryland (4-1) - 2 (4-1) Big X teams that are unranked. Winner keeps hope alive for another week at least. The Cornhuskers get going after they shake off the long trek to Maryland.

Florida (2-3) att #5 aggy (5-0) - Let's see if the Gators can continue their upward trend or was it just an anomaly. I believe it was an anomaly and they will revert back to a bottom of the SEC team. Hope I'm wrong but aggies win.

#10 Georgia (4-1) at Auburn (3-2) - Georgia is on the ol' MaFadden & Whitehead train--"Ain't No Stoppin' Us Now".

#15 Michigan (4-1) at USC (4-1) - Michigan wins the "Hey I'm still alive" game and the Trojans just can't get a stop.

South Carolina (3-2) at #11 LSU (4-1) - winner keeps hope alive for another week. loser starts their slide into mediocrity. I'm going with the home team here as the paper tigers get geauxing in the 2nd half.

#21 Arizona State (4-1) at Utah (4-1) - home cooking is the secret recipe for the Utes this week. They pull ahead of the Sun Devils in the race to the CCG.

What a crazy weekend of football. Penn State loses to Northwestern, and their HC getting fired. Texas dominating a top 10 team, Indiana taking it to Oregon in Oregon.

As Tom Herman once said, picking games is hard.

Congratulations go out to Hookemhorb for winning this week's Hornsports piick'em. Hookemhorb had only two misses on this week's list and no one else matched him so he wins it all by himself.

The tie breaker was not needed this week but Baron came closest to the actual score this time. He predicted 24-13 Texas.
