#16 Vanderbilt (5-0) at #10 Alabama (3-1) - I believe in Pavia. He can beat you. I'm just not sure the rest of the team is ready for prime time. I'll take 'Bama as Vandy faces the first of 4 top 20 teams.

Boise State (3-1) at Notre Dame (2-2) - Looks like the Irish are starting their comeback tour. They win this one easy and may even get back into the top 25.

#24 Virginia (4-1) at Louisville (4-0) - Beating Florida State propels the Cavaliers into the top 25. Looks like it will be a short stay as Louisville smacks them with a dose of reality.

Syracuse (3-2) at SMU (2-2) - A long trip for Syracuse to play the Ponies. It's going to be a longer trip back as the Ponies get back on track.

#3 Miami (4-0) at #18 Florida State (3-1) - The Seminoles need this one to get back into the race. Unfortunately, Beck makes the Hurricanes the best team in the ACC. Of course the best team doesn't always win. Miami breaks open this game in the 2nd half.

Mississippi State (4-1) at #6 aggy (4-0) - It's not November yet so the aggies come out on top.

Minnesota (3-1) at #1 Ohio State (4-0) - the Gophers must play keep away to stand a chance. The Buckeyes dominate this scrimmage game.

Colorado (2-3) att TCU (3-1) - the Horned Frogs get back on track with an easy win.

Michigan State (3-1) at Nebraska (3-1) - 2 middle of the road teams that still have hope. The Cornhuskers put a damper on Sparty's dreams. Is Nebraska back?

#14 Iowa State (5-0) at Cincinnatti (3-1) - the long trip may take a little out of the Cyclone's game. This will be a close one as Iowa State has to stop the Bearcat's dual threat QB. I'm picking the Cyclones in a squeaker.

Everybody had a good week this week, the best so far this season I'd say. But two members emerged to tie for first place honors – Kmed and Bctex1106.

Both posters had 1 loss each. Employing the tie breaker . . . even though everybody got the winner wrong, Bctex1006 was closer to the actual score with his 16-13 prediction while Kmed called for a 38-10 Longhorns win.

Congratulations to Bctex1106 on a fine showing, winning the Week 6 Top Prognosticator prize . . . which is a GI Joe wiith the Kung Fu Grip.
