Experience on the offensive line is key in college football. It doesn't guarantee offensive success. But it sure helps.

Below is a breakdown of the career offensive line starts returning for every team in the league, going from most to least:

6. Texas: Armanti Foreman and Devin Duvernay were both elite recruits coming out of high school. They also disappeared at times last season as Texas' offense sputtered late in the year. On talent alone, Foreman and Duvernay have the potential to be one of the top receiving duos in the league.

This is the ranking that was the biggest head scratcher for me. The talent at WR for Texas is the best in the Big12. Foreman, Duvernay, Johnson, Burt, Heard, Leonard, Curtis, Joe and Mapps

This is the ranking that was the biggest head scratcher for me. The talent at WR for Texas is the best in the Big12. Foreman, Duvernay, Johnson, Burt, Heard, Leonard, Curtis, Joe and Mapps

Agree. But much of our talent is still in potential phase. Burt, Johnson, Leonard and Joe have all shown flashes, but haven't put up the numbers. I'm surprised Foreman and Duvernay were the only ones really mentioned. Foreman isn't our best WR or even second best, IMO.

I am anxious to see Curtis and Mapps see the field.

Just read the cumulative analysis on the position rankings. TCU is the easy winner and maybe I have them ranked too low. IMO, their patience with Hill will run thin, fast, with the Robinson kid sitting there on the sideline. If he gets into a game, I don't think he'll ever come out again.

I'm becoming a little more confident in our secondary than in the past two years. We now have third year starters who are top caliber athletes. 

Herman is a mad scientist. I am anxious to see his brain work for this team.
