Very real rumors about Mack Brown's resignation

It's business as usual on the 40 Acres - nothing was announced this morning. Other than the injuries to this team are mounting.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dammit!

If we win the Big 12 title this year after this debacle, I will personally send Mack Brown a bottle of fine MacAllen and a knockoff cuban cigar.

Austinite are you the same one who used to post on the old espn boards years ago?

On a serious note, are you guys hearing the same stuff about the Administration being fully committed to Mack?

What is it going to take to get our team back?

The delusion train is roaring down the tracks.

You know what it'll take to get back on track.

Are you going Mack on me? You mean this:

FROM THE BIG CIGAR

I want everyone to be perfectly clear about a few things especially in light of some posts to the contrary.

Deloss Dodds is effectively retired.

Mack Brown is coaching his last season at Texas.

Neither Dodds nor Mack will have a say in who the next coach will be. Sure they'll be thrown some bones and perhaps their guy gets a courtesy interview but nothing beyond that.

People that understand what the problems are and how to fix them from a program building standpoint are in charge now. This won't be nepotist amateur hour because of who the stakeholders are.

President Powers doesn't know the game and will be a figurehead in the search for a new AD.

Good times are ahead. Bank on it.

Shuttlesworth got game. And good info. Wow is all I can say.

Dont know who this "Shuttlesworth" guy is, but Id like to hear the info from elsewhere.

Yes I am. The ESPN board has been closed down, just as I had argued it should be 2-3 years before.

I am the one who has been stumping on Mack Brown, Greg Davis and DeLOSS dud since 2001.

Texas would have been NC Title contender for most of the previous decade if Texas had hired Steve Spurrier.

Please tell the BIG CIGARS that they should be ashamed of themselves for supporting Mack Brown and deLOSS dud for so many years.

Which Big 12 title?

a) the biggest loser of the Big 12.

B) the most over-paid coaches of the Big 12.

c) the most overrated team of the Big 12.

d) the worst coaching staff of the Big 12.

e) the biggest embarrassment of the Big 12.

f) the worst play-calling in the Big 12.

g) the worst offense of the Big 12.

h) the worst defense of the Big 12.

i) the worst special teams of the Big 12.

I'm not a gambling man but if I were I would bet that Texas doesn't win the Big 12 title this year. I would also bet that Texas finishes around .500 this season - That's not a wish but a reality check assumption.

I expect losses (or blowout losses) in the following games:

a) against Kansas State

B) against Oklahoma

c) against Oklahoma State

d) against Baylor

e) against Texas Tech

f) against West Virgina

Can Texas still win the Big 12 after losing all the above games?? ;)
