This.If they're trolls, I say get rid of them.
If they are here and have cordial discourse, I don't have a problem with varying opinions.
Yep I am pretty well liked by all of them. LOLIf you want to see a collection of some of the very best anuses College Station has to offer, go check out Mike's Twitter feed. I am shocked some of them had opposable thumbs to bang out their Fake Army venom at good ole Mr. Barnes...
Thanks that's the goali'm new here, so jmo and fwiw. Re trolls: OB is covered up with them, but it's similar to Shutter Island over there. Hard to tell who's in charge and what's real.
No offense, but this place probably isn't well known enough or has high enough traffic to feed the trolls. That's what they live for.
I'm also on a much smaller board that's invite only and we check each other. Debate is encouraged, just don't be an a-hole. Reasonable enough.
Anyway, nice site you have here. Hopefully y'all can keep it the way the originators want it.
He is the head cheerleader of the glorified high school that is Texas A&M. I've said it before but it should be embarrassing that your school's lead academic cares more about taking pot shots at former athletic rivals than he does about you now, academics. But then you wouldn't be an Aggie if your entire identity wasn't based off of hating us or gravy training other schools' successes.TexAgs is a mirror image of its leader.
I have no problem slapping around the thin-skinned aggie trolls who are bold enough to enter our Free Speech Zone.This. I've always thought Texags was a micrososm of the type of people that go to A&M. Basically a totally insecure community of people who cannot handle dissent or varying opinion. Shoot, they'll delete their own threads if the posts are too critical of their school/team/traditions/etc. Let's not ever be that way.
Obvious trolls should be cut off but people with unpopular opinions should be allowed to post away. We aren't like the Aggie police state boards and we can handle discussion even if it's not what we like to hear.
I hope most agree. Besides, it ultimately makes for a much more entertaining and real discussion/community.
