Hi
Its funny how different outlets are spinning things differently. I guess you guys have seen that Texas Monthly has also weighed in on the 247 article:

All this and the flame wars on other blogs on these agendas.
While all probably comes from having two losing seasons, on another level, I find it a bit amazing that a plain vanilla strategy or "what you see is what you get" coach like Strong could have so much controversy on both sides… UNLESS certain people - writers, or the people they write about - have an agenda…
It does also make me wonder whether Strong's hires of Texas HS coaches are really meant to defend him/the program against those "anonymous" coaches. He's a long term thinking guy and this would have been really good thinking, if the case.
