Four-star Texas wide receiver commit John Burt (Tallahassee, Fla./Lincoln) said after he committed to the Longhorns on July 27 that he wanted to help bring elite skill talent to the 40 Acres.

Burt has done his part publicly to help recruit Aledo four-star receiver Ryan Newsome to Texas. A few days ago Burt sent out a message on his Twitter account telling Newsome that the two of them could do "big things" at Texas.

Burt is the No. 174 overall prospect in the Top247. Newsome, who is strongly considering Texas and has the Longhorns leading the way with 74-percent of his Crystal Ball picks, is the No. 236 overall prospect in the country.

That's good news Monarch. Hopefully we do some winning this year and build up some recruiting momentum. If you know anything about X's and O's go back and watch Strong's defense from last year. For a football fan it was a work of art and he did it with largely "3 star" players. Give him some of the top talent in the nation to plug into his system and our defense will become a monster.
