I like this Tuesday and both weeks, so far, I have run across items I had not heard about.

Yeah good stuff. To Mack's comments.... I have a feeling the Texas O-Line is going to be nasty. Desmond Howard is a freaking animal. A big mauler.

Mack flatly said this upcoming year, he has the best team in three years and expects better results. I think if the defense steps up, they can be special.

TCU has now lost there returning starter at MLB as well as the starter at LT (at least I think he was a returning starter).

Edit. Just found this. Make it 3 contributors (2 starters).

TCU is losing players at an alarming rate.

On Tuesday it was announced by TCU coach Gary Patterson that offensive guard Michael Thompson would be retiring after multiple knee injuries and surgeries. Thompson started six games for the Horned Frogs in 2011 and two games in 2012, but both of his seasons were cut short by knee injuries.

Which means that Thompson becomes the third player that the Horned Frogs have lost due to injury in the last week, though he's the first to be lost to injury. Starting offensive tackle Tayo Fabuluje left the program for personal reasons last week, while starting linebacker Joel Hasley left earlier this week because, as Gary Patteron described it, Hasley felt "it was time to move on from football."

Yes TCU has been taking it in the shorts..If anyone can coach em up it's Patterson..

Agreed. That's why I'm not getting all excited about them losing players. Until I see Patterson fail, I'll still believe the guy can coach his ass clean off.

It won't happen, but I would not get upset if Texas hired him when Mack leaves..I think he is one of the best coaches in the country. Pro or College

The only thing that could be better is.... well, I won't say it. Pachall goes on a bender and ends up looking like this:

Translation = Texas wins the Big 12 without question.
