Top 3 coaching candidates?

1. TONY DUNGY - my all time fantasy head coach as per the University of Texas ...if only GOD would smile on us....

2. MIKE TOMLIN - there is just something about this guy's inner strength that appeals to me ..I think many recruits would flock to Texas..

3. NICK SABAN - he is indeed a winner...but it's something about his overall demeanor at times... that reeks of sheer arrogance....

I don't think some names that appear are truly available, so here is my list:

1) Strong

Better DC than Muschamp and has done an amazing job at Louisville despite recruiting disadvantages in the fact that the Ville isn't exactly a destination spot for college football.

2) M Gundy

Should be mentioned more and think he would listen. Has had his disagreements with Pickens and AD at Stillwater and has been very good at setting a recruiting footprint in North Texas. People assume he wouldn't leave, but I think he would for UT.

3) A Briles

Innovator in HS and success at the collegiate level with Texas ties. However, not sure why he would leave Waco when he loves playing the underdog card and he and RGIII basically have built the new stadium.

I listed Strong as my #3 choice earlier, but after checking the recruiting class rankings on 247Sports for Louisville since he's been there, I may move him down my list.

2010- #50 (first year there I think)

2011- #29

2012- #44

2013- #36

2014- #26 currently.

I know he's still winning a lot but I'm starting to wonder how much of that is him and how much it actually Teddy Bridgewater.

From the outside looking in, why not Briles?

I know the argument will be age, but that type of offense with the talent at Texas would be scary. A lot of people are laughing at Texas right now, but if you guys get the right AD and coach, look out. Texas will be back and back strong.

Andersen - HC Wisconsin, completely turned around Utah State and is still young!

Petrino - HC Western Kentucky, the guy can coach, I would proudly establish Texas' first whore house to get him as our coach!

Shaw - HC Stanford, the guy is a great coach that has kept Stanford relevant since his debut at Stanford! The guy is 29-5 as a HC!!!!!!!

Interesting, never thought about either of those guys

Andersen turned around one of the worst programs in the nation! Also, he is showing great strides with his first year at Wisconsin. The dude is a winner and possibly the next Nick Saban! :D
