I love college football, couldn’t care less about the NFL. And I certainly believe in free enterprise. But truthfully if I had a young son I would steer him away from football. I would put a baseball in one hand and a golf club in the other.

Very sad. Tommy was the best UT defensive player I've seen. This is one of the exciting UT games I've seen. The Joe Namath Orange Bowl where Tommy and the defensive stopped Alabams.

One of my favorite memories was watching this game on tv with my dad.

  Seems like he’s lived a pretty good life considering the abuse he put his body through.  Being a modern day gladiator comes with some consequences, no doubt. I wish Tommy Nobis all the best.
