Negative. His yearly salary is being bumped up to 1.7 million unless I’m completely missing something. Wouldn’t make sense just to bump his salary up for a year.

Well I didn’t know how college coaches contracts work. Or what his contract even was. Guess he can leave whenever he pleases. Texas gave him a incentive to stay at least.  Herman needs him

edit— I see it was a 3 year deal from the get go so you are correct. Not a new contract like I was thinking.

I'm sure his original contract has provisions if he chooses to accept a head coaching job tho...
