Dan Quinn is seattles defensive coordinator this year, he took over for gus Bradley and only has that defense doing even better.

Everyone is throwing out Michigan states narduzzi, but what about a guy like dan Quinn.

For Head Coach? I think we need someone with college experience for recruiting purposes. One thing that would give me pause is Carroll called the defense while at USC so im sure he has his hands all over it in Seattle. That being said I'm sure the guy knows his stuff

I think he means as DC. I definitely don't see a coordinator in the NFL, leaving to be a coordinator in college.

Narduzzi is good yes but in the big ten, the big ten isn't known for high powered offenses. Just curious if anyone has heard any other defensive coordinators thrown out there as possible candidates

yea I was referring to DC and he has left nfl to be coordinator before at florida
Being a hot commodity, like I believe he will be after this season?

I didn't realize he had been a DC in the NFL, before going to Florida.

I partially agree with what your saying about the big 10. That being said Ohio St was one of the best offenses in the nation.

good call in Derek Mason. I'm guessing he will be a hot name for some small college jobs too.

most nfl coaches earn less than top college coaches, so I would imagine the coordinators earn a lot less than what texas could pay.

Exactly im surprised his name isn't mentioned more, if you think about the teams Stanford has to play. There talent level isn't the same as a usc or Oregon but yet they are well coached and disciplined, which is what texas needs
