My neighbor knows of a 15 year old kid that plays on the Fort Bend Travis HS JV baseball team. The kid is evidently pretty good - plays SS and throws an 85 mph fastball. And he is only a freshman. In addition, there was a 15 year old freshman, last year, that played on the VARSITY, was recruited by UT and has committed to UT already. FIFTEEN YEARS OLD, FOR GODS SAKE. Of course he is 16 now, but it was said he threw at 90 mph last year.
I never knew that college teams recruited kids so young these days.

Ok, took a browsing to shaggy. Saw RD post over there, but not a word about Horny. Maybe I missed it. Or maybe thats a second personality reserved for hornsports. lol
Not a bad place for the little time I spent there. There was a lot more conflict there than I am used to. Not a complete OB food fight, but lots of testosterone going on nonetheless.

More conflict there than you are used to? Right now Shaggy is about as calm as it ever gets. During the season it really gets "entertaining".
And, no, RD is the same personality over there as he is here. Even the posters who agree with him can't stand him.

Well, MB, has my rather obtuse and vacant musings helped liven up the site a little? I, also, started a controversial thread about Herman and I intend to start another about some rather juicy news. I just need to triangulate my info first, so the wraths of hell won't descend upon me.

I'm only aware of Java at this time. I would imagine there are others, but they don't post that much. Perhaps in lieu of a controversial thread, you could start a thread on Chip & Diane (?) from Waco, Flip and Flop, Property Bros or the one with the blonde and her husband in Southern Cal. Most ladies, including mrs. joeywa, watch all of these HGTV shows and love them. Full disclosure, on my most recent trip to Texas, mrs. joeywa requested we stop in Waco as some glorified food cart court off of I-35 so she could shop at one of the Chip/Diane stores. Two thoughts: 1) if that place had a beer vendor, it would triple in revenues and 2) what mrs. joeywa used to call junk, is now 'trendy' 'cute' and 'darling'. Still trying to understand #2.

I miss SFLonghorngirl, who apparently is now in Austin in the restaurant business? She was supposed to install a landscape with me about this time last year, but I never heard back from her. Always enjoyed her posts and was glad to meet her in person. She is quite the looker
