This Is What I'm Hearing

In the last two days I have heard from two different camps that Mack is definitely considering filing a lawsuit against the University/Parties for interference of contract.

All parties involved in the on going negotiations including Sexton could be name in that lawsuit.

One attorney told me the suit would not hold up but, Brown could make it very ugly.

One concern I have heard is this could once again make the HC job a less desirable position for any heavyweight candidate to step into and especially Sextons clients.

As I mention in our Crossfire several weeks ago that Brown was doing his best to make his exit a money grab, it also appears that he is considering smearing everyone that had anything to do with any type of negotiations.

I'm not sure where this is going to go but, wanted to make you all aware.

Mack is going to end up losing any good will he had built up throughout the years. Talk about ruining a legacy

So Mack is going to leave the party in a huff and drop a turd in the punchbowl on the way out. Nice.

Someone just needs to write Mack a one time check with no details released and a contractual agreement for Mack to go away and never say a word. This has got Jamail written all over it as well and he needs to go too. His money can be made up.

It will prove what a bitter, vindictive person he his. If he really wanted what was best for UT instead of himself he would not choose this path. It will tarnish what is left of his legacy.

What a shame. Mack has lost all respect, in my eyes. Can they still fire him? I wouldn't even want him coaching bowl game, now.

He has no case! We should do whatever it takes to severe all ties to him and JJ if they follow through.

If he is considering filing a lawsuit Patterson should not let him coach the bowl game!

This one is easy. Make sure Powers fires Mack from his special assistant position the instant the suit is filed, make sure we collectively promote the position that Mack is dead to the alumni so he has no endorsement potential and aggressively turn against him to help kill his potential as an analyst on ESPN.

If he wants a legacy as a reviled figure that stayed too long and tried to kill the program, let's give him that legacy.

Agreed. Name one of the other coaches as interim and get him the F out of Austin.

...one would think that this man's top priority should be to.... beat oregon! right?...

STAY CLASSY, MACK!

I say we start a collection and rename the field.

Forgive me everyone, but with all due respect, just what makes Mack so much better than everyone else? Why can everyone in Texas be fired 'wiithout cause' except Mack? He is such a dip!

Gag! No more Mack. It's Christmas. The man makes me want to throw up.

Hook 'em!
