I will admit that he was not who I would like to have seen, but I fully support him and Patterson. I think its going to work out to be a great hire. I remember not many being happy that Mack was hired and that ended up being a pretty good decision - regardless of what happened at the end. Mack was a great person and coach to work under, and I'm extremely grateful for everything he brought to Texas. I'm excited and ready for new energy and for the STRONG era to begin! HOOK'EM!

The standard is not the last 4 years. . .the standarad is 1998 thru 2009 which was only trumped at TEXAS by the 60's . ..

having said that, I think CS will have a much better next 4 years than the last 4 and we will see the playoffs at least once if not twice. ..just my cheap seats view prediction. .

In a way a bit of a new benchmark. . .conference titles are nice but going forward. .all about making the final 4. . .
