The Saban to Texas Thread

That's because you were naughty and got a lump of coal in your stocking.
I believe there is a chance. I think there 10-12 million reasons why he might come here.
10-4 on the naughty part..

Saban is brilliant at deferring questions and speculation... I refuse to jump on this train.. I have been let down too many times in recent years with our program

Seen at Texas tailgating vs KSU..

I hope the entire stadium is filled with people wearing such T-shirts. I also hope the cameramen will give a close-up of the T-shirt every time KSU makes a first down, or a touch down, and every time Texas gets a 3-and-out.

I understand Mack Brown is sort of arrogant and thick-headed (he doesn't care about popular opinion).

Send him a clear message.

Texas football has had enough losers under DeLOSSY Dudd.

We are better than that. Yes we are struggling, yes it might be macks time, yes time for a new regime, but to publicly humiliate ourselves is embarrassing. Thats now how we did things when i went to texas. We have always been about the utmost class and respect. We should still reflect that image.

It is a bit awkward but its a hot topic these days. The real issue is the fans do not have faith in the Bellmont boys to make the right decisions for the future of the program.

I'd like to give our fans credit for always being classy because I believe they are. The tolerance is non-existent any more.

It's just giving the nation one more thing reason to laugh at Texas, so some dude can make a few bucks.

This kind of reasoning is simply ridiculous. Why is it humiliating to publicly advocate change in the coaching lineup when the bureaucracy is too entrenched to self-correct? UT AD is not infallible. On the contrary, DeLOSSY Dudd has been a disaster for the football program during his tenure, costing Texas both money, time, and humiliation.

Which is more humiliating and pathetic - pretend everything is fine and let the football program continue to suffer, or apply public pressure and voice reasoned objections to AD's inertia and stupidity.

Applying your logic, the US government should ignore the Constitution and ban public protests of incompetent, corrupt, or criminal politicians in office, on the ground that it is embarrassing to publicly humiliate ourselves in front of the world.
