Lots of banter going around tonight regarding OB's, IT, Hornsports etc. I like all the boards. I get a great tone and great perspective from all of them. Are they all right? Of course not. THat is the beauty. No one really knows until it really happens but that doesnt distract me from reading and enjoying all the posts form all members. I take it with a grain of salt and take more credance to certain posters.

OB's has been amazing. IT has been great as well. Hornsports is growing quickly and becoming one of my favorites. Competition is good. I guess my point is that quit throwing stones towards the Longhorn sites. They are all trying the best they can and trying to feed our insatiable appetite for the "news". The winners will win and the subscribers will follow. The American way!!!

In regards to OB's, they are the most lucrative and long standing website. I think it makes it hard for them to continue their dominance. Not that I want them to but I do love their content. I also love competition and thus why I go between OB's, IT and HF about twenty times a day. Maybe its the Mack Brown, Bellmont syndrome. YOu are on top, you are king, things are perfect. Then some up-starts bring some new into, new content etc. Like Baylor, the Farmers, etc. Mack was on top but his sh*^ got stale. THat is good for all of us and makes all the sites up the ante with good, hard core news and great posters.

Keep up the outstanding work to all the Longhorn websites. Work the sources, gives us the goods, give us great perspective and lets hope we get SABAN!!!

OB = WWE/UFC

IT/247 = TNA/Bellator

HS = ROH/Small promotors

Competition is a big thing. UFC/WWE were doing great things when they had Pride and WCW to compete with. Being a huge monster means you get sloppy because no danger exists for sharp correction.

HS might = ROH/small promotors. But sometimes it's the small promotors that end up putting the better show in smaller more intimate settings. Keep up the good work.

Having perused regulalry 3 of the 4 sites in question, my thoughts are as follows: I've been really impressed with HS to this point. I'm also a big fan of IT and their work. OB has the largest following and tends to push the envelope on subjects with its reporting. I admire aggressive, investigative work, but I also appreciate accuracy. See Oliver Luck. Re: 247, don't really follow that board a great deal.
