I have heard that Jefferson took a razor to his bible to remove second and third hand accounts of what Jesus said. What remained purports to be what Jesus actually said, or as close to it as TJ was going to get.

So, with that in mind, please limit any responses in this thread to on the record quotes by any of the parties involved.

For example, Joe Jamail in Texas Monthly, Mack Brown in post game interviews, etc...

I would like to see if the on the record quotes lead us to any different conclusions.

If we're cutting out anything like talking snakes, that pretty much eliminates Jamail quotes.

Good one, dcbc. I just wanted to see if there would be any interest in 'just the facts' but I must admit, I am reading the unverified, off the record quotes and interpreting them just like everybody else. I believe you have supplied me with the answer. Thanks

I can not go any further due to no education in this kind of thread or post or quote.

Thank You

I do not know Jefferson????
