Texas commitment 2014 DE Sione Teuhema took a visit to Oklahoma State this weekend.

Maea Teuhema (2015)OL is also committed to Texas.

He took a visit to another school, wow. That's recruiting. Come on man. "Hits keep on coming", you can't be serious?

He visited Texas last week where he said he was solid now he takes a visit. Doesn't sound solid to me.

You just have to ask yourself why is this happening? Strong is a hell of a coach and has hired a great staff. What the hell is going on? All these kids and some are not that firm it appears. Many are visiting much lesser schools too. It's just so confusing and frustrating.

Alot of these kids dont live in favorable environments. These kids are just taking advantage of an unbelievable opportunity. This doesnt mean they are not committed to us.

Eactly

Strong has been on the job 2 weeks and inherited a soft program. Give him at least an offseason to fix things before you start demanding for his execution

Lol. Come on man. You are being over dramatic. "The hits keep coming". You are use to the Mack Brown ways in which a committed recruit wasn't allowed to take another visit. So the assumption is if a commit visits another school he is automatically gone. He may very well leave, but you can't call it a "hit" right now. It's known that Charlie Strong tells his commits to take other visits to ensure he gets guys who truly want to be with the program. Let's kill the sky is falling stuff.

Mack had the "you look around and we will too" policy. Strong doesn't have it. If these kids want to take free trips to see other places and experience life... they should! Until things are inked on NSD nothing else matters... Cue the Metallica.

I think a lot of the angst is because we had gotten used to Mack's recruiting policy of commits not being allowed to take other visits. Strong simply doesn't have this policy, but I wouldn't be surprised if he changes his tune for 2015.

Yes but instead he focused on the policy of no earrings and living on campus

There is too much parity in college football today to get worked up over losing a few kids especially given our current circumstance(new coach, 4 mediocre seasons in a row, etc.). If anything has been proven over the last few seasons is that COACHING MATTERS. Winning will fix this. I believe Strong is a better coach than sumlin and he will prove it. Aggy is cool right now and that is what kids talk about. I'm excited for the future. Hook em baby!

He has been our coach for less than a month. Do you really expect him to sway tons of kids that have been on the fence or expecting to sign elsewhere? The shear amount of pessimism on this board is absurd. Give the man an opportunity. Looking at the classes that Mack pulled in between 2002-2009, you would have imagined we would have won multiple national championships and handfuls of Big 12 titles. Yet, schools like KSU, OSU, and Baylor have been able to perform with less adequate talent. Yes, it's aggravating that A&M seems to be having everything go their way, but everything is cyclical. Sure it will be difficult for Strong to completely implement his offensive and defensive strategies in one offseason, but I'm hoping for the best next season. He's hungry. If the players will emulate his attitude, I expect a surprising season next year.

Couldn't have said it better.
