The End is Nigh

Doing our best to get you guys updated news but I checked with another source and they wouldn't discuss content of the meeting but said no announcement made.

Say Daniel? Have you made it to any of the high school playoff games yet?

Being at the Kansas game I saw first hand the vile and disgust the fans had for Charlie. Honestly, it was embarrassing. He obviously needs to be fired from this position, but there was no need to call him a piece of shit and a sad excuse for a human being. I told one fan it's one thing to be upset about the game, but don't attack a man's character when you don't even know him. To those other fans I would say Charlie may not be the right "coach" for this program, but he is most likely, check that, he is a better human being than them. Disgraceful!!!!

With that said, I don't think there is anyway they can let him coach against TCU.

All this talk about Herman, another post stated fire strong and let Herman get on board with recruits and 2 weeks to bring in a new system..... what makes you think Herman would leave U H high and dry this late... I for one don't see this happening. And for the kids there i sure hope not.

Well said.

I dont want him as the head coach but I would never call him that.

Great guy IMO just not a great HEAD coach here.

Kind of hurts to read this.

I know this is difficult on the players and that it will have an effect on recruiting, but this is all best for the long term success of the program. Current players will always side their emotions with their Coaches and I understand that, but like any college athlete their time is always temporary and their role as player is a very short period as they will become alumni and that role is lifetime.  We have to bring excitement back to the football program and the hiring of a new Coach will bring that excitement along with recruits who want to be a part of something great.
