Texas climbed a spot in the AP poll this week after dominating the bye week. lol. Texas opens as a 22.5 point favorite over Cougar High.

Houston beat West Virginia in their latest game. I'm not sure we know how good West Virginia is, but they were undefeated before Houston.

This is the first meeting between Texas and Houston since DeLoss Dodds proclaimed we would never play them again after the debacle over Robinson Stadium.

Texas should win this game with its eyes closed. But Texas won't close their eyes here. This will be their first action since losing to ou. They will be doling out the pain on Houston.

Probably to our advantage that Houston just pulled off the win. Instead of facing a completely down and out squad and potentially sleepwalking into the matchup, we get a team coming off a win and our coaches can use that to get the teams attention.

Actually State Penn beat West Virginia pretty bad in week 1. But the hillbillies were undefeated in conference play before playing the coogs. I agree with you and Mr. T on this one.

I am still waiting for Texas to start a game with fire and purpose outside of Bama. Both sides of the ball. Sark’s first 20 plays need a massive reboot. Everyone knows what we are doing.

We play down to our opponent again and start slow but pull away like usual. We should score 50+ but our offense doesn’t like to.

Houston is one of the worst defenses in the nation. Sark is an offensive head coach and has taken some heat for not scoring the ball leading to the OU loss. I think he is highly motivated to light up the score board this Saturday.

I think we have our highest scoring game of the season.
