The Brown vs. Bergeron Debate

Joe Bergeron is receiving a lot of attention in the off-season and heading into Spring Camp because he damn well should! The chatter over who should get the nod as starting tailback is alive an well. Did Bergeron earn the starting spot? Does Malcolm Brown own it? Brown finished with a 4.3 average on 172 carries. Bergeron finished with an average of 6.2 yards on 72 carries. WOW. Throw in J. Gray and we have a stable of horses!

Would be nice to have a Mark Ingram/ Trent Richardson duo.

Last season we ended up with neither. Mainly,in my opinion, because they were used up by having such worthless quarterbacks. If we have the same QB play as last season, it won't matter.

I am hoping Brewer will come in and take the job. I have no faith in either of the kids who were here. I also like Brown better because he runs in traffic better. Gray should come in here and keep the other two on the bench but we will see..

Personally I hope Jalen Overstreet jumps in and causes a stir. Brewer has the advantage by coming to school early but you cannot learn atheticism. Let's go Overstreet and the trifecta in the backfield!

David Ash will be the qb next year, bank on it. You saw what happened with the guys last season and the year before. Unless Brewer or Overstreet are programmed to play immediately they will need to learn the system. It was brutal enough on Gilbert, Ash and McCoy. We were spoiled with Colt.
