The Alabama Planes

Newsflash. Mack hasn't stepped down. Yet. He probably will tho. PBJ makes a lot of money of the University. It's absolute ludicrous to think he doesn't like the man that's making him a lot of money. I don't think the Alabama brand sells as well with out Saban and PBJ knows this. I don't think he wants that drastic in a pay cut.

That's a pretty hilarious statement.
Just stop, you're already way behind on the MB retirement info that has been given by McP, Baghorn, Shaunsters, etc...and you're still trying to find any comment you can, to be combative with

Just for a little added info on the three planes.

N323P is the Alllease, Inc. (incorporated by Paul Bryant, Jr.) plane. It's a 1998 Astra SPX As of this post, it is still on the ground in Austin.

N1UA is the Crimson Tide Foundation owned Plane (1990 Westwind Astra with University livery, i.e., big A on the tail). According to this article, they have paid to keep it off sites like flighaware since 2008. This plane is sometimes used for recruiting.

Still looking for the third plane, but can't find a reference to it. They used to have a 1980 Citation, but it was sold when they bought the Westwind.

If there is, I haven't seen it. There are a few prop planes flying from Tuscaloosa to DFW. Other than the fact that N323P is still in Austin, I haven't seen anything.

Nice work, keep it up!

Okay, the last one I could find is a Cessna 550 registered to the University of Alabama Board of Trustees. Tail number is N1OUH. No activity there, and not sure this is the third plane referenced above. Registered out of Birmingham.

We should probably be looking for planes associated with Texas, right?
That's my thinking.

Only UT or TXDOT planes I could find were two prop planes. N1TX registered to TXDOT and the Board of Regents Plane N454TB. The BOR plane was up doing S turns northwest of Austin about 6 hours ago. Maybe they were working on skywriting Saban's name. Who knows?

The last time around on hiring any coaches, the planes used were those of some of the BMD's. I think the one that went and got Harsin was based out of Midland.

I was wondering about that. There's a plane that flew from Tuscaloosa to New Orleans to Ellington today. Probably unrelated.

So Terry WAS in Austin yesterday...
My question is this: Why is a plane registered to Paul Bryant Jr. shuttling Terry to a place where her husband could be leaving Alabama for a new job?

Does he really want Saban gone THAT bad?
I think the better question would be why Terry Saban would even be in that plane - knowing that Bryant wanted Saban out. There can't be any love lost there.

Frankly, this doesn't add up.
